Today at the Bibliothèque des Grands Moulins | BU Paris Diderot - this is what happened when I tried to log into LinkedIn.

I was not using tools!

Furthermore, I have been advised not to check the box seen on the image below, as the message may not be genuine but simply a case of clever programming of web page content using html and hacking tools; which any hacker or IT student can do.

Apparently web page programming tricks, using internet hacking tools and software like 'Pegasus,' the impossible-to-detect software that hacks your iPhone is very popular with Interpol, EUROPOL and the Federal Police.

Built by a shadowy company called NSO Group, the software called "Pegasus", was discovered after being used against a human rights activist in the United Arab Emirates.

Updating iOS to the current 9.3.5 version is crucial for all users, since Pegasus is designed to infect a person's phone and it is virtually impossible to detect.

In a place like this university, only people at the top can give authority to IT Students, to carry out such illegal activity that is usually based on bribery; IP addresses and Administrator Passwords have to be given to override security software settings before hacking tools can be used.

1. Elink.Club

This system will visit as many as 800 targeted profiles daily for you. Why do you need this? Because studies show that most people don’t check out another profile unless they see that they have been checked out first. This tool lets you be the first to check them out, and they will want to see what you are about as well.

2. Rapportive

This is a Gmail plugin that shows you LinkedIn profiles of those you are sending emails to, or receiving emails from. You can connect with these people immediately through this plugin. This is a popular tool that has come highly recommended for businesses.

3. Profile Views: Who’s Viewed My LinkedIn Profile

If you are only using the free LinkedIn account, you can only see the last five people who have checked out your profile. When you use this tool, you can see everyone who has checked you out. This is a Chrome extension, and it tracks everyone who views your profile.
